What is Codeine?

Codeine is a pain medicine used to treat moderate to severe pain. It’s typically found in prescription cough syrup. Side effects of taking codeine include feeling sleepy, relaxed, and sedated. Codeine abuse is dangerous because it can cause respiratory issues. Codeine cough syrup is mixed with jolly ranchers and soda to create a mixture known as syrup, purple drink, lean, or barre.

Codeine Detox

Clients in our codeine detox program will complete detox under medical supervision. Doctors and nurses monitor each client around the clock to ensure the detox process is completed safely. Doctors may prescribe medications to keep the client healthy during detox, which typically lasts 7 to 10 days. Clients can choose to explore our grounds or relax in their beautifully appointed bedrooms. We have private and semi-private bedrooms with attached bathrooms. We allow cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices on our premises.

We also allow smoking outside on the patio. We employ a chef who is able to customize each person’s meal plan. We provide each client with a full line of exclusive IV vitamins, tablets, and nutritional supplements, which work to complete the clients’ diets. At our detox center, we truly understand drug abuse and addiction. Many members of our staff have been in your shoes and they’re now in recovery. Our program is holistic in nature because we combine exercise, proper nutrition, medication when necessary, and counseling. Although clients in the codeine detox program are required to complete traditional medical detox, they are also able to participate in the many holistic treatments that we offer.

Aromatherapy – Essential oils can boost mood, improve cognitive functioning, and increase overall health. We use oils, like lavender, to induce feelings of relaxation.

Meditation – This practice teaches you to look inside yourself for permanent peace. Meditation is very beneficial because it’s a natural way to de-stress and relax.

Yoga – Originally from ancient India, the practice of yoga teaches you to be well-balanced and to Plus, yoga is a great exercise!

Acupuncture – This traditional Chinese practice uses needles and laser-point to stimulate different parts of the body. This will excite the flow of “qi” throughout the body.

Massage therapy – We employ only licensed and experienced massage therapy professionals who are skilled in a variety of different massage therapy techniques.
