What is Roxicodone?

Roxicodone is the brand name for oxycodone and hydrochloride tablets. Nicknames for Roxicodone include roxies, blues, greens, and hillbilly heroin and it’s a semi-synthetic narcotic that’s similar to morphine. Roxicodone pills are prescribed by doctors to treat severe pain, however Roxicodone is abused because it provides the user with a high similar to that of heroin. Side effects of taking Roxicodone include drowsiness, sedation, muscle relaxation, nausea, vomiting, and headaches. Long term use or abuse of Roxicodone will lead to chemical dependence.

Roxicodone Detox

Clients in the Roxicodone detox program are required to complete traditional detox while under medical supervision. During the 7 to 10 day detox process, clients will be monitored around the clock by both doctors and nurses to make sure they are healthy and comfortable during the process. You should never detox from Roxicodone while at home because the side effects can be severe. Our doctors work with each client to create either a tapering system that limits the amount of Roxicodone pills taken per day, or they may put clients on other necessary medications to ensure they are healthy while they detox. We offer a beautiful and peaceful environment with private or semi-private bedrooms for each client. We employ a chef who is able to customize each client’s meal plan to fit their specific needs or concerns. We also offer a full-line of exclusive IV vitamins, tablets, and nutritional supplements which will complement each client’s dietary plan. We allow cell phones, laptops, iPods, and other electronic devices on our premises and we also allow smoking outside on the patio. Although clients in the Roxicodone detox program must complete traditional, supervised detox, they will also have access to the many holistic treatments that we offer. We don’t believe in “one size fits all” detox, instead we allow our clients to create their own treatment plans with input from our doctors.

The holistic treatments that we offer include:

  • Massage therapy – Our licensed massage therapy professionals are accomplished in a variety of different massage techniques.
  • Acupuncture – A traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncturists use needles or laser-point to arouse different parts of the body. Acupuncture stimulates the flow of “qi” through the body.
  • Meditation – This practice is a great tool for those in recovery because learning to meditate will help each client to refocus on their goals and to find inner peace.
  • Yoga – Originally from ancient India, the practice of yoga helps clients to maintain a state of permanent peace. After dealing with the pain and chaos of drug addiction, yoga will teach you to look inwards for happiness.
  • Aromatherapy – We use many different essential oils which may promote overall health, boost mood, and improve other cognitive functions.
