What is Triple C?

Triple C is the slang term for Corcidin Cough and Cold medicine, available over the counter. The drug is used illicitly because it contains dextromethorphan (DXM), a cough suppressant with dissociative properties that can cause hallucinations. Triple Cs are swallowed and side effects include confusion, nausea, blurred vision, slurred speech, hallucinations, and experiencing “out-of-body” sensations.

Triple C Detox Program

Clients in the Triple C detox program are not required to complete traditional medical detox, because Triple C detox has a minimal health risk. However, a team of doctors and nurses will monitor all clients around the clock to ensure they are healthy and comfortable during the entire detox process. Doctors may prescribe non-addictive medications to help ease any withdrawal symptoms. Many of our staff members have been in your shoes – they’re now in recovery. At our center, we truly understand drug abuse and addiction. You will always have someone to talk to during your stay with us. Our goal is to make each client feel welcome at our detox center. We offer private and semi-private bedrooms with an attached bathroom. We allow cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. We employ a talented chef who can customize each client’s meal plan to fit his or her concerns or needs. We also offer an exclusive line of IV vitamins, tablets, and nutritional supplements, to help complement each client’s diet. We don’t believe in “one size fits all” detox; instead we treat each person like the individual they are. Our doctors and counselors will work with each client to create their personalized treatment plan. Clients in our Triple C detox program will be able to participate in the many different holistic treatments that we offer.

These treatments include:

  • Aromatherapy – We use essential oils which can boost your mood, improve overall health, and promote cognitive functioning. Oils, like lavender, are used to increase relaxation and to de-stress the clients.
  • Mediation – This practice is a wonderful tool for those in recovery because meditation allows each client to refocus on their ultimate goals – sobriety and recovery.
  • Acupuncture – Our acupuncturists use needles and laser-point (for those adverse to needles) to stimulate different parts of the body. Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine used to promote the flow of “qi” throughout the body.
  • Yoga – Originally from ancient India, the practice of yoga helps people to attain permanent peace. Yoga teaches each client to look inside themselves for happiness. Plus, yoga is a great exercise!
  • Massage therapy – We employ only licensed and experienced massage therapists who are skilled in many different forms of massage therapy. Whether you would like a Deep tissue, Shiatsu, or Hot Stone massage – we have you covered!
