What is Xanax?

Xanax is the brand name for the drug alprazolam. It’s a prescription medication used to treat anxiety and panic disorders. Xanax is in a class of drugs called benzodiazepines and it works by calming chemicals in the brain which cause abnormal amounts of excitement. Side effects of taking Xanax include feeling calm, relaxed, and sedated, but it can also cause the user to feel disoriented and confused. Xanax is usually taken in pill form.

Xanax Detox Program

Clients in our Xanax detox program are required to complete traditional medical detox. During the 7 to 10 day detox process, doctors and nurses will monitor all clients around the clock to ensure they are safe and healthy during the process. Doctors may prescribe necessary medications to ease unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. At-home Xanax detox is never recommended because quitting the medication outright can be very dangerous. Let us help you detox safely! We have a beautiful and peaceful detox center where you can kick back and relax. We offer private and semi-private bedrooms each with their own attached bathroom. We allow cell phones, laptops, and other electronic devices on our premises, making us unique from many other detox centers. We employ a chef who can customize each client’s meal plan to fit his or her specific dietary needs or concerns. We also offer a full line of exclusive IV vitamins, tablets, and nutritional supplements, all of which complement each client’s diet. At our detox center, we truly understand drug abuse and addiction. We also understand chemical dependency. Many times, people who are prescribed Xanax may want to stop taking the medication if they (and their doctors) decide it’s the best thing to do. Taking Xanax for a long period of time, whether legally or illegally, will cause the user to become chemically dependent on the drug. The only way to quit Xanax safely is to go to a detox facility. Although clients in our Xanax detox program are required to complete traditional medical detox, they may also take part in the many holistic treatments that we offer.

These include:

  • Acupuncture – This traditional Chinese medicine uses needles and laser-point to stimulate the flow of “qi” throughout the body.
  • Massage therapy – We employ only licensed and experienced massage therapists who are skilled in a variety of different massage therapy techniques.
